We have no idea if the owner of the following Frankenstein car is a technician certified to transform a perfectly good S-Class sedan into a four-door S-Class convertible.
By that we mean that the inherent structural stability of the car may be more than likely compromised now, but we can't say that for sure since we lack sufficient information.

This convertible Mercedes-Benz 560 SEL (W126) was spotted on Craigslist and the owner seems to have been been fed up with it after so many years (he apparently was the car's first owner) and is trying to sell it.

In the video bellow he also mentions that the car is the only one of its kind in the United States and that there's a maximum of three W126 convertibles on the planet, a fact which pretty much no one can obviously prove but sounds fairly accurate.

The man initially wanted a whooping $15,000 for it back in June, but the price was recently cut by $2,500.

Despite the owner saying that the soft top is electrically-operated and actually looks like a professional job, there is no proof of it working in the video bellow, so we can only take the man's word for it.
