It's not everyday that we feature a Mercedes-Benz S-Class of the W126 variety. Oh, wait, actually this is the second time this week and it's only Tuesday.
It doesn't matter though, because we only try to feature the most interesting ones we can find, and boy is this one special.
Yesterday we told you about the allegedly only convertible W126 S-Class in the United States and one of just three in the world.
Today it's time for another special W126 with a V8 engine up front, only now it's “only” a 500 SEL and it's a frickin' golden limousine!
With 170,000+ driven miles, this Mercedes-Benz limo was either used for the daily pimp duties of a 1980's pimp for a large number of years or was a regular attraction for every high school prom in the Florida area until today.
The car is currently for sale by its owner – who may or may not be a retired drug lord – for $9,000 on Craigslist. We would buy it just to paint it in white, transform it into a Laundalet and dress like the Pope on Halloween.
