Mercedes-Benz 280 SL (R107) Filling in For The Page Boy

Petrolheads are notoriously difficult to be understood by non-petrolheads, but they are especially difficult to handle by their partners.

You've all been there, admit it. The first step they take is to try and make you like other things instead and it's pretty much always wrong.

“Forget about that set of coilovers you've been saving up for since summer, how about you buy a new set of green curtains for the living room to match the yellow couch?”

When that obviously doesn't work they either try again, move out or - in the happiest circumstance – stick around and actually try and make a living with you and your passion/obsession for objects of the vehicular variety.

The third option seems to have happened for the couple whose wedding rings are gracefully carried by a Mercedes-Benz 280 SL (R107) that's filling in for the page boy/ring bearer in the above photo. Doesn't it look like a bridge between the love of cars and the love of people?
