With just 66 days until the 2014 Formula 1 Championship begins, all that remains to know until the first race in Melbourne is how the new hybrid turbocharged cars will look.
The boys and girls from the Brackley-based F1 team have apparently let it slip on their official Twitter account that their car will see the public for the first time at Jerez, January 28.
According to WorldCarFans, a fan of the team simply popped the question about the car's launch on the official Mercedes-AMG F1 Twitter account, to which the guys behind the account answered: “28th January, first day of the Jerez test. That's the big day.”
This would make for a car reveal that will happen about a week earlier that last year's F1 W04 launch, which also took place at Jerez, but on February 4.
While we're not very eager to listed to the blender sound of the new turbocharged V6 hybrid engines, we can't wait to see how the all-new regulations have influenced the design of the cars, and especially of the Mercedes-AMG F1 W05.
