Mercedes-AMG GT3 Is Back To Haunt Your Dreams

Mercedes-AMG weren’t fully satisfied after releasing the terrifying teaser-photo of the beast called GT3 so they had another go at it in such a lavish way that it’s hard for us not to scream OMG! from the top of our lungs.

A few days ago, Mercedes-AMG published a teaser picture showing the AMG GT3 lurking in the dark, patiently waiting to unleash its inner evil on the racetrack. Well, that escalated quickly.

Without holding back, the AMG GT3 now reveals its full motorsport awesomeness in not one, but three pictures taken at the Autodromo do Estoril circuit near Lisbon, in Portugal, just asking to be used as wallpaper on every smartphone, tablet, laptop or desktop out there.

The SLS AMG GT3’s successor might have big boots to fill but it is already showing a desire to impress. Speaking of which, it’s really hard to spot the standard AMG GT under that aerodynamic body kit with additional, side exhausts and gianormous rear wing.

Impressed? Consider this: you only saw half of it. The cabin has been stripped out and was fitted with the standard race-spec gizmos you would expect, including a roll cage, a seat that is bound to give non-stop free hugs to the driver, a large digital display showing all the relevant race data in real time and a sexy race-spec steering wheel.

Let’s be frank, if this doesn’t make you wanna time-travel in the future and see the Mercedes-AMG GT3 in the metal at the Geneva Motor Show 2015, we don’t know what else would. Until the GT3 makes its debut, let’s show some patience and let “right click + set as desktop background” make our day.
