The Internet might come up with all sorts of automotive-related shenanigans that draw our attention, such as otherworldy renderings, but there's nothing like a good old track test. And the one we've brought along for today is a massive delight, involving the Mercedes-AMG GT R, the Lotus Exige Cup, the 2018 Ford GT and the 2018 Porsche 911 GT2 RS.
The four velocity monsters we mentioned above were brought together by Evo, with Steve Sutcliffe manhandling them on the Anglesey circuit.

Now, before anybody points out that these are very different animals, whether we're talking about their layout or their price, you should this is the whole point of the video.

Zoom in on the hot lap delivered by the Lotus and you'll notice that the editor didn't fully exploit the potential of the hooning machine.

Oh, and there was another lap the drew our attention in a somewhat similar fashion, namely the one involving the Rennsport Neunelfer. Of course, many drivers will treat these beasts in similar fashion, while other will keep them locked away in a garage. So very few people will actually push them harder.

Then again, this test is far from a collection of chronograph numbers. So if we look past the lap times, we get to enjoy the character of each beast, regardless of where its engine is found.

Sadly, none of the toys found here comes with a naturally aspirated motor, which means the soundtrack of the clip isn't quite at 100 percent. Then again, we won't complain and, once you watch the video with the volume all the way up, it's likely that you'll share this opinion.

And while we uncovered the lap hierarchy of the FGT and the Beast Of The Green Hell in the title, you can place your bets when it comes to the other two toys involved in this adventure.
