German tuners at Lorinser have unveiled their package for the Mercedes-AMG GT. Instead of a wild tuning kit, the specialists from Waiblingen have developed a down-to-Earth package.
We are talking about a 3,650-euro power upgrade, which amounts to about $4,150. The peak output of is thus increased to 595 HP and 553 lb-ft (750 Nm), the latter being available at 4,900 rpm, while the former is reached at 6,100 rpm.

Thanks to the “vigorous power upgrade,” available for both Mercedes-AMG GT and GT-S models, the sprint time from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) is shortened to just 3.6 seconds. Furthermore, the modified versions can go from 0 to 200 km/h (124 mph) in just 10.1 seconds.

The threshold of 300 km/h (186 mph) is achieved after just 27.3 seconds, which is impressive, to say the least. We see this as one of the best tuning deals ever announced for the Mercedes-AMG GT, and it comes from a reputable German company, with a long history of tuning Mercedes-Benz cars.

The tuning package for the GT and GT-S models does not end here. Instead of developing intricate interior packages or unusual exterior designs, the specialists at Lorinser offer a range of alloy wheels for the coupe developed by the Affalterbach division of Mercedes-Benz.

Customers looking for a set of rims to use with summer tires are suggested to get the RSK 8 light-alloy wheels. They come with a width of 9.5 J for the front axle and 11 J for the rear axle, while their diameter is 20 inches for the front wheels, and 21 for the back. The Lorinser RSK 8 wheels are three-piece forged alloy wheels that have seven spokes and stainless steel studs, and can be ordered in anodized black or gold.

Customers interested in driving with winter tires are suggested the Lorinser RS9. Unlike the three-piece alloys suggested for summer driving, the former have a recommended tire size that is smaller, thus more suitable for winter driving. A set of RSK 8 black alloy wheels from Lorinser costs 11,424 euros including VAT (approx. $13,000), but without tires.
