Nowadays, it seems like pretty much anywhere you go, you’re in walking distance from a new-gen Mercedes-AMG G 63. To the untrained eye, this is just another G-Wagen, but petrol heads know that it’s one of the coolest high-riders, with a truck platform, impressive power, timeless design and luxurious interior.
So, if you had one (or perhaps you already do?), what would you do to it to make it stand out from the crowd? If you said wheels, then you are in the right place, because the pics shared in the gallery come via PUR, and depict the modern AMG G 63 on their LX33 set.

The three-piece forged wheels have a double-spoke pattern and rose gold finish, and are hugged by the Advan Sport tires from Yokohama. They represent an interesting addition to the ride that seems to have a Dakota Brown Magno matte paint, but the light makes it hard to tell for sure.

Compatible with the OEM tire pressure monitoring sensors (TPMS), the wheels can be ordered in several shades and different sizes, from 19 to 22 inches in diameter, and were fitted to other vehicles, including a Range Rover Sport.

Made in ‘the land of the free and home of the brave’, they are on sale at PUR, and to find out how much they cost, interested parties will have to reach out to the wheelmaker and pop the magic question.

On a related note, getting a new G-Class in the United States is a pricey affair. The G 550, with its 4.0-liter bi-turbo V8 engine, producing 416 HP and 450 lb-ft (610 Nm) of torque, for a 0-60 mph (0-97 kph) acceleration in 5.6 seconds, has an MSRP of $131,750.

The AMG G 63 variant will set buyers back at least $156,450, excluding destination, handling and dealer fees, bringing 577 HP and 627 lb-ft (850 Nm), and dropping the sprint time to 4.5 seconds.
