Mercedes-AMG E63 S Wagon with Flamethrower Exhaust Is Ready to Roast

The Mercedes-AMG E63 S is a phenomenal machine in factory stock form, delivering the kind of performance you'd expect from a junior supercar. However, you shouldn't expect this to mean that aftermarket developers leave the Affalterbach cruiser alone. In fact, with the E63 being animated by the German automaker's famous twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8, there are plenty of mods for the machine.

And the freshest example of the kind comes from a current-generation E63 S Wagon, which has been gifted with a custom exhaust. Sure, the new hardware allows the said TT V8 to fully express its feelings and emotions, but there's an explosive side effect.

We're talking about the flames that mostly show up on the engine overrun phase. So once the driver takes the foot off the gas, the posterior of the car turns into a firework show.

In fact, the said exhaust specialist dropped a message on the development, choosing to add a Game Of Thrones plot twist: "A dragon is born. Neither castles nor kings will stand in its way."

And the fact that we're looking at a T-Modell here (the dog-friendly version) only makes the mix even spicier.

Speaking of the W213-generation Mercedes-AMG E63 S Sedan, which delivers 612 ponies in factory form, the machine has already shown its might.

For instance, the Merc has managed to beat the Porsche Panamera Turbo in a drag race - here's the footage of the adventure, in case you missed.

And while you might expect the Panny to make up for that in terms of a track attack, that simply didn't happen, with the Mercedes-AMG also grabbing the stopwatch victory, as we showed you last summer.

And with the gas-electric hardware of the Porsche Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid bringing a hefty weight penalty, the victory stays with the Mercedes-AMG E63 S.
