Remember when we told you guys that Mercedes-AMG team have once again partnered up with the high-performance speed boats maker Cigarette Racing for a newer model? Dubbed Cigarette Racing 50 Marauder GT S Concept, the Mercedes-AMG GT S-inspired speed boat was unveiled at this year’s Miami International Boat Show.
Like we said, the high-performance boat with the most powerful production twin engine within the Cigarette portfolio is inspired by the hallmark design and the full-blooded motorsport technology of the Mercedes-AMG GT S. As its muse, the boat too was painted in the exclusive AMG Solarbeam color and sporting matte black highlights. The beauty of the sea is powered by two Mercury racing engines and has an intelligent lightweight construction that resulted in weight savings of about 450 kilogram over the standard homologation weight.
The power boat is 50 feet long (about 15 meters), 8 feet wide (about 2.40 meters) and reaches a top speed of more than 134 mph (217 km/h). As to its design, there’s AMG all over the boat. The exteriors sparkles with a black hull and an AMG logo, while the hand-finished interior is dominated by a black and AMG Solarbeam color combination with black Alcantara highlights.
The design is inspired by the classic Cigarette Racing cockpit, yet the user interface remains high tech, things such as Bluettoth communication, computer-based control, four high-resolution display, Garmin and Cigarette navigation and an audio system of the latest generation are included.
In case you’re in Miami the next days don’t forget to stop by the Miami Beach Convention Center where the unique boat will be exhibited until February 16. Oh, and in case you’re even considering buying it, you should know it’s priced at $1.2 million.
