Mercedes A45 AMG Tuned to 404 HP by Mcchip-DKR

Everybody knows that German automakers tune their engines to about eight tens. There's reliability to consider, fuel consumption and price niches as well. You can't simply make a Porsche Cayman that's faster than the 911.

That's where the tuners come in. With a few strokes of the keyboard, chip tuning specialists Mcchip-DKR have unleashed all of the untapped potential of the Mercedes Benz A45 AMG.

In standard form, the car makes 360 PS and 450 Nm of torque from its M133 2-liter turbo engine. After 3 or 4 hours of ECU play, Mcchip put the A45 on the dyno for shocking results: 403.9 PS and 528 Nm of torque.

It's amazing to think that the highest specific output production engine out there can produce 12% more power and 17% more torque after just 4 hours of work.
