The thing with all-wheel drive performance cars is that the drivers tend to think they are as invincible as Superman. They never realize that when the tires do let go, bad things are going to happen.

According to Wrecked Exotics, eye witnesses saw the driver of this Edition 1 hot hatch traveling at excessive speed in Israel. He lost control of the car after a dangerous overtaking maneuver and went off the road. Fortunately, he survived the incident, which is more than we can say for the A-Class.

As all Mercedes fans know, the Edition 1 is special, as it's only in production for the first year after the launch. When launched in 2013, this bad boy cost no less than €56,977 in Germany, being equipped with matte gray racing stripes, plus radiator grille, side mirrors, rear wing and brake calipers with red highlights. It also came with a Nappa leather steering wheel and unique interior accents.

It's funny how by turning the A-Class into a rocket, Mercedes has also bestowed some supercar characteristics: idiot drivers, crashes, and random fires. This is supposedly the second A45 AMG crash that happened in Israel over the course of a week.

We've also discovered a charred shell of the car for sale at €9,000, and there were many CLA 45 AMG in similar states on the same website. Looks like 0 to 100 km/h in 4.2 seconds will get you in a lot of trouble, so you can imagine things will only get worse when the 381 hp models arrive.
