AMG might have gotten a lot of hate mail for making the W164 generation of the Mercedes-Benz M-Class look too much like an all-wheel drive brute who beats up school children and takes their lunch money.
Otherwise, we can't think of another excuse for making the W166 generation of the ML 63 AMG look so toned down compared to its predecessor. Even in a darker, more evil-like color, the current model has a much more friendlier face.
The owner of a black ML 63 AMG probably though the same when he bought his car, but, instead of just rolling with it as it is, he decided to make it as menacing as possible.
Instead of putting an aftermarket bodykit he decided to go straight for the car's rims, which he switched for a set of HRE's TR45 painted in Satin Black – to go with the car's color – and also black out most chrome elements on the exterior. The result of these rather small changes is absolutely sinister and the car now looks like it wants to corrupt your soul, especially when squinting too hard at some of the photos below.
