Whether you are an Unimog truck fan or you just like Lego vehicles, you will probably like this blogger’s creation. He took the MOC truck and turned it into an off road aerial bucket one.
We are sure you’ve already heard about the newest MINI Cooper the guys from Lego just unveiled, but this article is not about classic British cars, it’s about trucks... from Germany. While some of us love supercars, others enjoy the history "flavor" a classic four-door coupe will bring you. However, there are some people out there that just won’t stop looking for strong, huge vehicles.
And when you combine the passion for truck with the Lego enthusiasm you get the MOC truck. A blogger and an AFOL (Adult Fan of LEGO) decided he’ll build an “Off Road Aerial Bucket Truck” using a cherry picker attachment. He recently posted some images with it on his site.
The Unimog Style truck is 12.5 inches (32 cm) long, 6.6 inches (17 cm) wide and 9.4 inches (24 cm) high. The bucket raises to 24 inches (61 cm) above the ground. Among other features, the truck includes a front mounted winch, a rear aerial bucket with two controls, one to lift the bucket arm, the other rotates it, and a under tray storage for a folding ladder.
The only thing we’re wondering is how this Lego four-wheel drive medium truck would actually look like in real life. Makes you think of the fireman trucks, doesn’t it? But it's probably used to change street light bulbs and install decorations.
