Built for kids age 6 to 10, the Mecatecno T12 is one nifty solution for the parents who discover their children have some champion genes. Created as a trial bike, the Mecatecno T12 can however be used for basic motorcycling training, too. It's friendly architecture and unintimidating performance make it a great way to introduce your child to the 2-wheeled sports.
A 160mm rotor front brake is complemented by a 120mm disc one in the rear. The 16” wheels are big enough to tackle obstacles and their knobby tires offer great grip on pretty much any surface. The Mecatecno T12 is powered by a 0.75 kW engine located in the rear wheel hub and can go as fast as 28 km/h (17.4 mph).

The juice comes from a 3-battery array summing 36V and 9Ah capacity and providing 2 hours of fun riding. With a weight of only 28.7 kg (63.3) lbs and keyed running, the Mecatecno T12 is a safe ride. Even more, Mecatecno's range of optionals can add to the safety: apparel, protective gear, additional side wheels and all.

The (UK) price tag is 1,099 GBP. That is $1,775 or €1,338, and is truly affordable, given its ease of use and low maintenance/ running costs.
