Meaner Nissan Juke Photochopped

Nissan Juke's design has always been a controversial topic, with opinions regarding its looks generally divided into two sides: those who like unconventionality and those who don't. Generally speaking, each car that comes with something unique can be easily included in the first category, while regular hatchbacks, sedans or SUVs are surely proud members of the second one.

As for the Juke, the controversial design seems to be somewhat appealing, as sales are rising in both Europe and Japan. Tuning packages will most likely surface in the next few months, but the guys over at DamnJDM, together with JDMsociety, created what's the first virtual tuning kit for the crossovers.

The result can be seen in the adjacent photo and we must admit that we were really impressed when we first saw it. Not only because the car looks much more aggressive, but also because it gives that special aura that every car needs to catch the eyes of the passing strangers.

A little bit lowered, yellow headlights and green wheels, plus a mean exterior finish, and here you go. A brand new car that has only little in common with the original and unconventional Juke.

As for the regular model, Nissan started production in late August, with sales expected to begin in Europe starting this month. The crossover will retail starting from $18,960 and will be available in the US in eight models. All will be powered by a single engine, the 1.6l Direct Injection Gasoline (DIG) Turbo, which develops 188 horsepower and 177 lb-ft of torque.
