At first glance, the idea of delivering food to the old and hungry using exotic cars might seem like an exaggeration. But Gotham Dream Cars decided they wanted to volunteer for deliveries with the Pascack Valley Meals on Wheels, in order to help raise awareness of the senior hunger issue in Pascack Valley, N.J.
Gotham Dream Cars, the New York and Miami exotic vehicle rental company and membership car club, arranged the “Fastest Meals on Wheels in the Country” to deliver meals to more than 40 seniors in need across Northern New Jersey. The meals were delivered in attention-grabbing vehicles such as the Maserati Quattroporte, Bentley Continental GTC and Lamborghini Gallardo.
“The Pascack Valley Meals on Wheels makes a big impact in relieving senior hunger in Bergen County, and we’re pleased to support their efforts. Our vehicles are exotic, and we thought using them to support local volunteers would be a great way to get the word out about the program to those who don’t realize what a difference it makes to seniors in need,” said Noah Lehmann-Haupt, Founder/CEO of Gotham Dream Cars.
The luxury car rental company also pledged to donate 10 percent of all gift certificate sales between December 6th and the 31st to the nonprofit organization. “The support of our community is essential to combating senior hunger in the area. We’re pleased to have the support of Gotham Dream Cars to help spread the message about the difference local volunteers can make in helping out seniors in need,” said Jeanne Martin, Director of the Pascack Valley Meals on Wheels.
