Want to know what you'll be looking at after you buy a million dollar McLaren? Not much, because the cabin is going to be like that of a racing car, only better built.
British supercar maker McLaren has just released a set o photos detailing the interior of the upcoming P1 hypercar, the spiritual successor to the F1 of myth and legend. The cabin is space, with a carbon fiber dash, simple digital display and instruments. The panels aren't even covered in resin to make them sing, because this would have added another 1.5 kg to the weight of the car.

If you're not into hard seats, loo away, because this car has the absolute minimum amount of foam for the cushions, so you're basically sitting on carbon fiber shells and a bit of leather. To put things into perspective, each of the seats only weighs 10.5 kg (23 lbs). One from a luxury car would probably be five times as heavy.

Just like the F1, there isn't going to be any soundproofing or floor mats. But, at least you have a spectacular floating dash and a glass ceiling for that airy feel no race car has.

He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
