McLaren Receives Major Investment from Singapore Businessman Peter Lim

The high-performance sports car manufacturer announced that Singapore-based businessman Peter Lim had made a significant investment in the company. Thus the Singapore-based businessman joins the McLaren Automotive Board of Directors. Lim’s investment offers McLaren another perspective in its global strategy, with the introduction to the McLaren Automotive board of an influential an well respected partner in Asia.

The new alliance will strengthen the manufacturer’s trading influence in a region where McLaren sales are very encouraging. Retailers in the Asia-Pacific region have recorded strong demand by confirming orders that account for around 18 months of production.
