After debuting at the Geneva Motor Show last month, McLaren plans to bring the P1 hybrid supercar at the Goodwood Festival of Speed.
The car will be driven hard for the first time in front of the people between July 11th and 14th this year. McLaren’s P1 will show it’s capabilities offered by the 3.8-liter twin-turbo V8 helped by powerful electric motor that kicks in especially when the turbos are spooling to prevent the lag.
Per total, the powertrain generates 916 hp and 899 Nm (663 lb-ft) of torque, and coupled to a twin-clutch seven-speed gearbox, bolts the car from a stand still to 100 km/h (62 mph) in under three seconds, reaching an electronicaly limited top speed of 217 mph (350 km/h)
McLaren will make only 375 units, each with a starting price of £866,000 ($1,150,000 or €1,004,800).
