McLaren P1 GTR Aero Pack Installed on Toyota Supra Makes for a Devilish Mashup

In the world of car design, there's always been a bit of an unofficial competition for the title of building the most badass-looking rear end of a go-fast machine. When it comes to recent history, we should probably give this title to McLaren.

From the oddly-named MP4-12C that saw Woking returning to building road cars after a decade-long break, the Brits delivered posteriors so fascinating they could ease the pain of other supercar drivers who got overtaken by McLarens.

One thing led to another and we ended up with the gaping, explosive rear of the McLaren P1 GTR (here is a nice view of a road-legal P1 GTR), with the hybrid racecar mixing this with a generously-sized wing. Given this setup, it was only a matter of time until the internet came up with a rendering that would use the P1's track versions as a donor, gifting another infamous velocity-friendly platform with the McLaren halo car's posterior.

Well, the time to admire such a digital contraption has arrived, and we must thank Yasid Design for the pixel arrangement above.

In fact, here's the digital artist explaining his creation: "Yes it has salvaged parts from a P1, as well as a 650 GT3. Thought that this would be bonkers but it works like a charm, so why not. Spoiler was also left stock until I gave it the P1 GTR one, as well as the diffuser as someone suggested,"

Those of you who consider this a blasphemous move should be prepared for more creations of this kind, as delivering such mixes is a trend that's picking up more and more speed.

For the Photoshop masters that play with these cars, it's all like a huge LEGO session, except there are no hard parts to step on once they're done. Which, we have to admit, isn't half bad.
