When McLaren presented its new flagship, the P1, at this year’s Geneva Motor Show, the company also brought the production prototype of the F1 LM, to remind us of its supercar family’s racing DNA.
The P1 will most likely enter the motorsport arena at a certain time, which is why we decided to give you a taste of what a racing incarnation of it could look like. Since McLaren is only building 350 units of the car, this will be an extremely precious creation, so seeing a racing version would boost its image even higher.
The adjacent renderings show a proposed P1 GTR Gulf concept. This mixes the traditional Gulf livery, an eye candy guarantee, with Davidoff Black. In addition to that, the rear of the McLaren P1 now features a racing wing, as well as a generously-sized diffuser.
