McLaren’s hybrid hypercar, the P1, has ended its production run at the end of last year, but that does not mean that you cannot find one with delivery miles.
McLaren only built 375 examples of the P1, so each vehicle will be worth more that what was paid for it thanks to the laws of supply and demand.
Some of the people that bought the P1 have acquired the vehicle for their collections, which means that there are cars with very low miles. Unfortunately for those interested, most of them are not for sale, or are not announced as being available for sale.
Enter Alastair Bols, a British specialist in McLaren sports and competition vehicles. Without mentioning why, the dealer has announced the sale of a McLaren P1 with just three miles on the clock. The mileage means five kilometers since the car was made, saying we are talking about a car which has not been driven since delivery.
The P1 in question is painted in the gorgeous “Volcano Yellow,” and has never been registered. This would mean that its next owner has the possibility of being the first to enter this car into traffic, and the first to drive it on public roads. We expect that moment to be incredibly special for its upcoming driver.
The McLaren P1 available for sale is chassis number 97, and comes with a black interior. The color combination is tastefully chosen, so nobody would probably mind the “Cadmium yellow” stitching on the mixed black Alcantara and black leather upholstery.
The vehicle is being sold with the original Certificate of Conformity, and is currently being stored in the United Kingdom. Chassis number 97 is a left-hand-drive vehicle, and comes with tastefully chosen optional equipment.
The seller has not announced the price of this car, and customers are asked to phone for an inquiry on the matter. Our point of view of the situation is that those that need to ask will not afford to buy this hypercar. On the other hand, a lucky collector could get their hands on a pristine P1.
