Earlier today, we told you that the McLaren MP4-12C Spider will make its European debut at the Windsor Concours of Elegance, an event that’;s scheduled to take place this weekend.
However, McLaren will give us another goodie at the event, as the carmaker will unveil an MP4-12C using a redesigned front bumper coming from McLaren Special Operations (MSO), which handles bespoke projects. This will be a retrofit option for both the coupe and the open-top version of the MP4-12C.
The lower area of the apron is built from carbon fiber, while the front floor uses carbon-Kevlar, a material borrowed from racing. The new floor section comes with extra diffusers, which replace the tyre spoilers used on the standard car. Unfortunately, McLaren hasn’t published any image of the development.
