The car which is supposed to bring back McLaren in the fight for the Formula 1 title in 2014 has just been revealed and, as expected, is bound to unleash quite a blatant amount of innuendo talk in the paddock.
Called the MP4-29, the McLaren Mercedes single-seater in the following photo gallery is the last McLaren to feature a Mercedes-Benz engine, as the Brits will turn to Honda powerplants from 2015 onwards.
We already showed you a 3D rendering of the new 1.6-liter, turbocharged V6 hybrid that this car (and others) will feature for the 2014 season, but this is the first time when we can see how the new Woking race car will look.
On a personal note, it's not exactly the prettiest car in McLaren history, but the finger-shaped nose will probably grow on us in the future – hopefully not like Pinocchio’s.
Before checking out the first official images you might want to hear Sam Michael, McLaren Mercedes' Sporting Director, sharing some of the insights from the new 2014 MP4-29.
