McLaren Automotive is continuing the series of developments aimed at establishing it as “the most innovative, most successful, and most respected sports car and motorsport business in the world” by appointing three key North American executives.

The company announced that Peter Freiberger, Richard Powell and Lynne Arciero are joining the company’s Regional Director, Tony Joseph. The carmaker’s North American headquarters will be based in New York City.

Freiberger will serve the company as Sales Manager, Powell as Aftersales Manager and Arciero as Marketing and communications Manager for North America. In preparation for the global launch of the first car in McLaren’s range, the MP4-12C in 2011, they are joining the previously appointed Regional Director for North America, Tony Joseph.

The new members of the team have previously worked for companies such as Porsche, Aston Martin, Maserati, Land Rover and Toyota Motorsports. They will be using their vast experience to set new standards for sales and service in the performance car sector.

I am very excited about the team that we have assembled for the North American market,” said Tony Joseph. “Each person on our team brings a wealth of experience in various aspects of the premium car industry.  In addition, because we have the unique opportunity to start a car company from a blank sheet of paper, it was vitally important that we put together a group of people that were open to thinking out of the box. I’m confident that we found the right balance for the North American region.
