When a McLaren 675 Longtail and a Lamborghini Huracan get together for a drag strip party, you can expect a monstrous stunt and this is precisely what we're here to deliver.
The two supercars can be seen going at it in the video below and we'll throw a little spoiler at you by mentioning this is an overly tight battle.

In terms of the power-to-weight ratio, the Woking speed tool has a crushing advantage, as it's not just more muscular, but thanks to its carbon fiber tub, it also one-ups the Raging Bull in terms of the scale footprint. To be more precise, while the Huracan delivers a still-stunning 2.7 kg per PS, the 675LT comes with 2.2 kg per PS.

The torque battle is alwo worth mentioning, with the twin-turbo 3.8-liter of the Macca allowing its driver to play with 516 lb-ft (700 Nm), while the Lambo's naturally aspirated 5.2-liter V10 means it delivers 413 lb-ft (560 Nm).

Nevertheless, all that torque has to be transferred to the road and this is where the truly enticing part of the battle is.

In theory, the prepped surface of a drag strip should allow the 675 to easily get over any potential traction issues. After all, we recently showed you a drag race that saw McLaren's (don't call it entry-level) 570S duking it out with a Huracan.

As for what happens out there in the real world, the video we have here comes to prove that things aren't always that simple. Speaking of which, you'll notice the McLaren's slippery take-off determined the YouTube channel behind this piece of footage to add another run of the 675 Longtail, one that saw the Woking machine becoming friends with the grip.

And if that run, which took place on the same drag strip over the past weekend, seems familiar, it's probably because you've seen the sprint in the story we released yesterday.

In the end, both mid-engine animals in this clip managed to make phenomenal use of their speeding abilities and that's the kind of conclusion you want to hear after a weekend of racing.
