McGuinness TT Honda Fireblade Replica On Sale

A Honda HM Plant CBR1000RR Fireblade replica that will be signed by John McGuinness at the Cadwell Park BSB sometimes between August 29-31 is up for sale.

John McGuinness races for the aforementioned Honda team in road races like the Isle of Man TT and the North West 200, and on the short tracks in the British Supersport series.

Of course, the bike cannot be collected until the race weekend. The buyer will not only receive two weekend race passes for the BSB Bank Holiday Race that weekend, but he will also get a photo of McGuinness signing the bike.

This Non-ABS version of the bike is priced at £9,999 ($16,860), MCN tells us. It's been painted to replicate the Honda HM Plant colours with genuine Honda single-seat cowl and the Head Light shields included as a bonus.

The 2009 CBR 1000RR Fireblade uses a 999cc, liquid cooled engine that provides a maximum power output of 178 HP at around 12000 RPM. The name Fireblade came along due to a mis-translation from French to English for the Japanese word for lightning.

But this is not the only 1000cc TT bike signed by a famous motorcycle racer that we heard of recently. In fact, we were informing you that MCN has launched a competition to give MotoGP fans a chance to enter and win the exact Yamaha R1 ridden by Valentino Rossi on the TT circuit at the Isle of Man in June.

The tank of the £10,999 ($18,690) sportsbike offered by MCN also bears the eight-time world champion’s signature, just as the Honda Fireblade replica bears Mcguinness’.
