McDonalds may have just found a rather unconventional manner to keep their delivery goodies from getting cold over in Australia. Sure, there are scooters with thermally-insulated boxes for that, but why turn to those when you can handle the deliveries swiftly in a... Ferrari.
Apparently, they do this at McDelivery Melbourne. The fast food giant debuted testing its delivery service in the Australian city back in August and, judging by the branded Prancing Horse we have here, things must be going pretty well.

At the time the service debuted, there were already two Sydney stores offering the service, to the development wasn’t exactly new to the country. Still, health activists are worried that facile access to such types of food will lead to increased obesity, a matter that is already an issue.

What’s in the bag?

Most of the items on the menu are offered though the McDelivery service, with customers having to pay a delivery fee and to place a minimum order. As for what could be the... maximum order, this Ferrari may not be the most practical car in the world, but it definitely has more cargo capacity than the usual scooters.

We are talking about an F430 Spider here and the rumors that sit behind its use all lead to one idea - avoiding taxes. For those unfamiliar with the matter, we’ll remind you the car taxes in Australia prevent many that would otherwise afford supercars to buy such machines.

Regardless, we can see many advantages of this scheme. Anybody who’s listened to the exhaust tune of an F430 knows you can hear this thing from quite a distance. Given this and the density of supercars in the area, which is not exactly high, you’ll basically hear your food coming.
