No, I didn’t start working for Mcchip-DKR but the guys sure do seem to know what they’re doing. One of their latest tricks involves a BMW E91 325d that received a whole lot of extra power just by chip tuning.
Originally, the 3-liter diesel under the bonnet used to make 197 HP and 400 Nm of torque but after they took it to stage 2 with an ECU remap, the car turned out to be making around 259 HP and 547 Nm of torque, nearly as much as an LCI 530d.
The best thing about this upgrade, though, is that the whole thing lasted less than an hour and didn’t involve no new parts or anything like that but just a few clicks on a laptop. The price, you ask? Only EUR849.
