Have you seen many interesting, exotic cars lately? Well here's another one, which you probably never heard of before. It's called the Mazzanti Evantra, and it comes from an Italian company.
On show this week at the Top Marques 2015 supercar event in Monaco, the Evantra is as unique as they come. The first thing we noticed were the doors, which open in a reverse butterfly arrangement that is extremely rare. The design is a strange one, with little hints from the race car word and unique lines.

Mazzanti was founded in 2002 by Luca Mazzanti, and the company was originally connected to the Studio Faralli design house. In 2013, this supercar was launch and production has been strictly limited to a maximum of 5 cars per year.

Built on a chrome-molybdenum chassis, the Evantra is light. The total weight of just 1,315 kg (2,900 lb) is dealt with by an American-sourced 7-liter V8 engine tuned to deliver 700 hp and 847 Nm (625 lb-ft) of torque.

Connected to a six-speed sequential gearbox, this engine rockets you to a maximum speed of 349 km/h (217 mph) and deals with the sprint to 100 km/h (62 mph) in about 3 seconds.

The architecture of the car is similar to a race car, in that there's a cage for the engine that the suspension connects to. As for the body, it can be ordered in two different configurations: pro-body, made in carbon fiber, or one-body, with some parts in hand-formed aluminum. So far, there's only been one of those.

Nobody know how much it costs, but we can tell you they make the Evantra in Toscana, Italy and is available as a download in the Driveclub racing game for the PS4.

He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
