When we story about a tuning project with “Mazda3 MPS” you know there’s a good change it comes from Germany. And indeed it does, as the German tuning firm MR Car Design has found a way to pull some extra horses from under the bonnet of the hot hatchback.
The 2.3-liter MZR DISI four-cylinder turbo left the factory with a very respectable 260 PS. But by boosting turbo pressure and reprograming the ECU, MR Car Design found it could produce as much as 310 PS.
Although we don’t have any acceleration figures available, give that the stock MPS gets to 100 km/h in 6.1, this tuned car is surely a force to be reckoned with.
MR Car will also fit your Mazda3 MPS with 19-inch Qxigin wheels, KW coilover suspension, Forge Intercooler and a custom exhaust that’s also offered with the decat option.
