Mazda UK Introduces Special Offers

Car manufacturers in the UK are making efforts to maintain their sales level after the country’s scrappage scheme has reached its end. Last week, we reported that Vauxhall introduced a new entry level version for all the models in its range, offering hefty discounts. Now, Mazda UK announces that it has prepared a complex customer financial advantage offer, which includes a range of savings and a special financing scheme.

Now that the Government scrappage fund has run out many manufacturers have launched their own version of the scrappage scheme. In fact, there are now so many different offers with different terms and conditions, some on 10 year old cars and some on seven year old cars, that choosing the best scheme is both difficult and confusing for the customer and requires a car to part exchange or scrap," said Mark Cameron, Mazda UK's Sales and Marketing Director.

"At Mazda we have decided to make our post scrappage offers simple to understand, fair and equitable for all. It does not depend on having an aged car and is open to all customers, ensuring anyone who wants to buy a new Mazda can get a great deal and purchase their perfect car at a fair price.

Mazda’s post-scrappage scheme package includes offers such as a range of savings that goes up to 1,250 pounds for the MX5 models and deposit allowances of up to 1,000 pounds for customers who use the company’s financial services. The discounts for the MX-5 range include the recently-introduced 20th anniversary limited edition model.

Mazda UK has taken full advantage of the scrappage scheme, as the company has sold 10,000 cars through the program. Last year, the carmaker’s sales in the UK reached a record value, registering the highest level since it entered the British market in 1960.
