Automotive Haute Couture - this is probably the best way to describe the rendering we have here, which takes the worshiped FD-generation Mazda RX-7 to a whole new level.
Before zooming in on the bits and pieces that set this Wankel warrior aside from a standard RX-7, keep in mind that its styling is meant more as an extreme manifestation that makes a point and inspires others rather than an actual body kit that would land on a car in the real world.

With that out of the way, you should know that Khyzyl Saleem, the digital artist behind the project, sought inspiration in the world of motorsport when pixel-shaping the car.

"Been sat on this design now for what feels like years now. IMSA, mixed with Group C and F1 Inspirations combined with my love for the sci-fi world," the artist states in the Instagram post below, which portrays the machine. For the record, the afficioando drives... an RX-7.

The said racing influences explain many of the car's standout features, such as the longtail-style posterior (Group C), the air scoop adorning the roof or that super-sized front splitter that was integrated into the design of the vehicle (F1).

While the sides of the car have also been aero-redefined (IMSA), the exposed lower rear end once again reminds us of Group C beasts.

Now, you'll notice pieces of hardware where the driver should be and that's probably because this toy can handle itself. However, since we're in a digital dream, let's imagine that you can remove the autonomous bits and slide into that seat for some proper control.

Oh, and note that this digital dream also comes with a soundtrack, since the artist introduced this rendering as part of a series that draws attention to a copyright-free music platform, as you'll notice in the description of the Insta post.

And yes, the said series is why those airless tires look familiar. As for the wheels, this design would probably sweep the aftermarket community off its feet if put into production.
