Mazda has decided to make the MX-5 a 20th birthday present by releasing an iPhone and iPad app that aims to help you buy an Mk1 (1989-97) or Mk2 (98-2001).
The app, which works on iPhone, iPod touch and iPad and requires iOS 4.0 or later, sees author Carla Crook taking a close look at all the areas of the car, showing you where to look for problems when buying an used MX-5.
Who is Carla? Let's hear it in official words: "Carla is an active member of the MX5 Owners’ Club and the MX5 Nutz forum. When she’s not helping her husband fettle a project car, or out driving her Roadster, Carla is a busy working mum to three-year-old Harriet – a petrolhead in the making!"
