Mazda has released two new special editions for the Japanese Domestic Market (JDM) version of the Mazda2, known as Demio and for the Verisa, a city crossover-ish model based on the previous generation of the Demio, which is only available in Japan.
The Demio 13-SKYACTIV Smart Stylish comes dressed in Clear Water Blue Metallic and offers goodies such as custom seat upholstery, a dark tint for the windows, as well as as keyless entry and start system. The vehicle was created to celebrate the 2 million units global sales landmark of the Demio/Mazda2.
Next, we have the Verisa CLASSY STYLE, which uses a 1.5-liter gasoline unit and a four-speed automatic gearbox and can be ordered with front-wheel-drive or all-wheel-drive. It brings a unique exterior color, Clear Water Blue Metallic, while the interior also gets new colors.
The vehicle rides on 15-inch alloy rims with a new design and comes with a Dress-up Package that bring chrome details for the front grille, front fascia, rear fascia and hatch, while the exterior mirrors are finished in a water repellant coat.
The Mazda Demio 13-SKYACTIV Smart Stylish is offered for 1,470,000 Yen (U$18,995), while the Verisa CLASSY STYLE has a price of 1,640,000 Yen (US$21,150) or 1,829,000 Yen (US$23,600) for the all-wheel-drive version.
