The Mazda MX-5, a firm favourite with British buyers has been refreshed slightly for the 2013 model-year, and is now available for order, with revised pricing for the UK market. The base model now costs £18,495, and it gets a new and more aggressive-looking grille on the front, as well as improved handling characteristics.
Mazda claim that the revised car is now more stable under braking, and that throttle response has also been improved. Furthermore, air-conditioning now comes as standard, and on the inside, the car gets new glossy plastic trim pieces. Three new colours are also available, called Sparkling Black Mica, Dolphin Grey Mica and Crystal White Pearlescent.

The range topper, called Sport Tech Nav, features aluminium pedals, standard sat-nav and a lightly-revised 2.0-liter engine - it will set you back £21,495. However, with a new model due in 2014, some buyers will want to hold off buying this, and wait to either buy it at a discount once the new model arrives, or just buy the new car.
