Maybach Xenatec 57S Sounds Good, Has Champagne Holder

Youtube supercar spotter Marchettino comes to the rescue on a boring tuesday morning with this very interesting video of the Maybach Xenatec 57S Coupe, one of the rarest and least talked about luxury boats out there.
This car is like a perfect explanation of why Maybach is going away next year. Yes, it looks good, sounds even better and the interior is covered in a sea of leather and fine woods, but you can clearly see the Mercedes coming up from underneath and we’re sorry but paying a full million dollars ($923,440 or €675,000 to be more precise) for this thing is strictly out of the question.

Designed by Burch Fred Hardt, the same man who penned the Exelero concept, the coupe stays true to the standards set by Maybach, but in a more playboy-ish sort of body. To come up with the coupe body, Xenatec pushed the B-pillar back and increased the curvature of the roof by installing more rakish A- and C-pillars.

He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
