Maybach 62 Is the Best J. Lo Could Get

Although we're still shocked after Christina Aguilera botched the American national anthem at Super Bowl XLV, we took a moment to check the latest rides among those who are generally considered VIPs in the United States. The first in the queue line was Jennifer Lopez who was photographed near what could be easily considered a true luxury masterpiece on wheels: a Maybach.

Being J. Lo shouldn't be too hard, at least from our point of view. You can drive whatever car you want and, if the name Maybach comes into play, well, why not? The "American Idol" judge was seen in New York, as Celebrity Cars Blog wrote in an article posted today, near what seems to be a Maybach 62.

The surprising fact is that she actually refused to take a cab to reach the hotel and, although we're not sure if the Maybach belongs to her (it most likely doesn't), she made the right decision.

Because we're pretty sure Jennifer Lopez has no idea what's hidden underneath that luxurious appearance, let us review the technical specs of the Maybach 62. Power comes from a V12 mill, namely a 6.0-liter that develops a maximum of... hold your breath - 640 horsepower between 4800 and 5100 rpm, while the maximum torque reaches 1001 Nm between 2000 and 4000 Nm.

If that doesn't impress you much (oh-oo-oh!), you should probably find out that the 3.3 ton beast sprints from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 5.1 seconds, while topping at 155 mph (249 km/h). Now, seriously, what would you choose between this and a taxi?
