Here's another sweet take on a Kawasaki W650, dripping with clean and smooth French style and showing some very nice ideas to make the whole build even sleeker.
A creation of the Max Power workshop, this W650 had become a really temperamental bobber bringing in the casual retro lines, a dash of steampunk and minimalist simplicity. The result is an eye candy machine which turns heads and is surely fun to ride.
Now, as the stock W650 is already harking back to the way bikes were made some 40 years ago or even more, it was really easy to add more melancholic sweetness to the build. The flat tuck and roll seat now rests ona slightly shorter subframe showing a shiny bare metal rear fender with a perky, amazing tail light and a miniature license plate.
Matching the shorty front fender with drilled decorations and the silvery shine of the other body parts, this Max power build is most likely splendid to behold in bright light. The rest of the bike was painted black: frame, hubs, rear shocks, headers and the exhausts, helping the Captain America badge on the small tank shine even more beautifully.
I totally loved the integration of the dash lights into the neck of the bike and the miniature switches integrated into the handlebars! Very clean, practical and good-looking! The small single gauge was also taken form the bars and relocated near the bike's backbone for a clean swipe of the upper front end.
Add in the missing airbox which was replaced with oval-conical K&N breathers and the awesome polished metal underseat storage and you've got a classic bike gone classier!
