Max Biaggi Denies Rumors on His Comeback
Max Biaggi, 41, has announced November 2012 that he will no longer be involved in professional races as a rider, though his relationship with Aprilia was to be continued in other ways. Biaggi had been offered a contract for the 2013 WSBK season but declined the offer and stated his main concern from that moment on was his family life.

Rumors had it that Ducati Alstare chief Francis Batta only needed the approval from the Borgo Panigale offices to bring Biaggi into the Superbike round at Monza, but it turns out such a thing will not happen.

Biaggi himself declared that despite all the speculations, a comeback to racing is not among his plans: "Ragazzi, Dopo le 1000 speculazioni del mio ritorno,vi dico che non è nei miei piani. Tante parole buttate la,ma il Max pilota ha detto Stop!" (Guys, after 1000 speculations on my return, I tell you this is not in my plans. So many words thrown out there, but Max the pilot said Stop."

2012 WSBK champion, Max Biaggi has won 6 world series: 4 in the 250cc class and 2 in SBK and has triumphed no less than 56 times in 370 races.
