Matte Red BMW E85 Z4 Roadster Spotted in China

Before the BMW E89 Z4 Roadster came around, the world was enjoying the benefits of a more 'rounded' model, the E85. The person responsible for that model was the world-famous Chris Bangle, the man who also brought you the E60 5 Series.

That car was basically just as good as the current model, with a few, different engines that used naturally aspirated engines, instead of turbocharging, in an era that didn't seem so desperate to keep fuel consumption and CO2 emissions in control.

This particular car, spotted in the busy capital of China, Beijing, is wearing a thin layer of matte red vinyl, a color that we could live with, compared to other Z4 Bimmers we saw in the past in China.

Other than that, the car looks rather stock but that's a good thing in China, where people tend to recklessly modify their cars to turn them into wild animals.
