Orange MG6
A decade ago, MG was still fighting off Citroens and Fords with hotter versions of Rover cars. But with the exception of their roadster, very few of their cars had any market relevance, and when it came to build quality... don’t get us started.
The company name might be about 90 years old, but this car and the new MG brand are essentially brand new. The MG6 is their first car since the company was taken over by Chinese company Shanghai Automotive.

Right now, it’s built in Britain for the European market. It’s based on a Chinese market car, which was in turn based on the defunct Rover 75. Before you turn your nose up in disgust, let us remind you that the keyboard you’re sitting at right now is also made in China.

But we’re not here to talk about a brand, as we’ll instead focus on an MG6 that’s been wrapped in matter orange. There’s also some green on the door handles and grille. What do you think, is this car worth our time?

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
