Back in 2009, Hyundai unveiled the new Genesis Coupe at the New York Auto Show. It was offered globally with either a 212 horsepower 2.0-liter turbo four banger or a 306 horsepower 3.8-liter V6.
It was marketed asa Mustang rival in America, but somehow didn’t fit in well with Hyundai’s European hatchbacks and was never promoted as strongly there. But with a simple and elegant coupe design and aggressive eyes, buyers quickly realized this was a cool car, one to be seen in.
This one was bought by its current Russian owner straight from Korea for the reasons we just mentioned. But it was a shamefully boring white, something which needed to be rectified if he was ever to be seen in it.
The only logical solution was to warp in in matte lime green. This brash urban coupe was created by the guys at Re-Styling and shown at the annual Best Tuning Fest event in Krasnoyarsk.
