Just when we thought that either this or this SLR McLaren had the funkiest colors we had ever seen on the Mercedes-Benz supercar, another example - this time with Dubai license plates – has arrived to battle for attention on the French Riviera.
Nevermind matte black and nevermind gold chrome, those two colors are so last season for this SLR McLaren 722 Edition owner from Dubai.
Also sporting a set of ADV1 wheels that are color-coded to match the matte gold (most likely vinyl wrap) of the car, this SLR has a single digit Dubai license plate, meaning the owner is someone from the royal family or very close to them.
Either way, the plate may be worth more than the rather rare Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren 722 Edition it's been put on.
Another interesting bit about the following footage might be the fact that the car hasn't been driven all the way into what looks like Cannes, but brought in with a transport truck, even though the SLR is well know for being a much better long distance grand tourer than a crowded city car. But hey, it's obvious that the owner appreciates the attention it brings him more than actually driving the car.
