The Lamborghini Aventador is not the superstar of the car world any more, not when hypercars outshine it these days. But by no means does that make it an average model not by a long shot. Whenever one of these ultra-expensive V12 crashes, it's big news across the world, like this next car.
A matte black Aventador has been involved in a very serious crash this weekend over in London. Eye witnesses say the car was being aggressively driven while chasing a Maserati through the capital's streets.

It reportedly crashed into another car which was pulling out of an intersection. In total 3 cars were damaged, the Aventador, a BMW 3-Series and a Vauxhall van, all of which were quite seriously damaged.

The accident took place on Saturday morning Sloane Street in Knightsbridge, London. Fortunately, the speed of the cars involved was so low that nobody got hurt. But both sides of the front end are damaged, with scrapes going down the length of the car. One of the Aventador's front suspension arms seems to have snapped, but the wheels are OK. But hey, if you're going to race a supercar in the city than you can probably afford to fix it, so we're not worried.

If you're of a nervous disposition, the sight of an Italia supercar scraping along the ground as it's being put on a trailer will certainly give you goose pimples.
