Matt Farah Gets Extreme Giggles in 900 HP Dodge Charger Hellcat Canyon Carving

By now, most automotive aficionados who like to spend a reasonable amount of time online have gotten used to Matt Farah's One Take stunts, but we've rarely seen the journo connecting with a car so easily as in the case of the Dodge Charger Hellcat we have here.

This is one of those Mopar machine examples that dial things past ten out of ten, having received a fair amount of aftermarket attention. Since all the details of the tech work are described in the video, we'll only mention this sedan packs around 900 ponies (we're talking crank output).

In his latest Smoking Tire adventure, the man gets overly intimate with the gas pedal of this blown Dodge and the result is interesting enough for one to hit the "play" button and focus on the aural side alone, for instance.

Remember the time when Matt's 800 hp supercharged Lamborghini Huracan review was interrupted by a gentleman dragging a log on the road? Episodes like that have reinforced the need for defensive driving scripts during such runs, but this doesn't mean the clip at the bottom of the page is without its pauses (those of you who are unfamiliar with the format will understand what such moments are all about as soon as one of them shows up).

It's worth noting that sending a Hellcat to the gym, regardless of the number of doors it packs, should also be accompanied by installing a reinforced driveshaft. Many Mopar owners who go down this route also enjoy grabbing a pair of drag radials and hitting the drag strip, in which case the driveshaft move becomes mandatory. And if you don't want to take our word for it, here's a 900 horsepower Hellcat blowing its strengthened driveshaft to smithereens (it was actually a carbon fiber unit).

As an unorthodox bonus, this Hellcat adventure includes a bit of a motorcycle chase and even though the bike part isn't visible, Matt mentioning it is enough to increase the intensity of the run.
