He has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, was named the Sexiest Man Alive by People magazine and is a among Forbes magazine’s most bankable stars. Matt Damon loves his acting career so much he even left Harvard for it. But as opposed to most of the people in the business money haven’t changed him a lot and he could care less for what he’s driving on a daily basis.
Damon was seen leaving the gym after enjoying a workout recently, in West Hollywood, California. Not that he wouldn’t stay in shape anyway, but he’s currently doing some extra work to reprise his role as Jason Bourne a fourth time. Photogs captured him driving the same car he has been seen with for several years now, which makes us assume the actor doesn’t really care about cars that much.
After all the Escalade doesn’t necessarily have to be a rapper's car, even though that’s what most of the people associate it with. No, GM’s popular full-size luxury SUV is engineered for big families, which is pretty much what Damon has. The Departed actor has been married with Luciana Bozan Barroso for over 10 years now, as the couple have three daughters together. Damon is also the stepfather to his wife’ daughter from her previous marriage. The Escalade is spacious enough to offer them the right comfort.
Plus, Damon is probably one of the least materialistic actors in Hollywood. In fact, the 44-year old actor has been actively involved in charitable work, including the ONE Campaign, H2O Africa Foundation, Feeding America and Water.org.
As we said, we’re pretty sure cars are the man’s last interest. We do wonder though if he also owns a Tesla Model S or any other EV for that matter. Maybe you guys can help us out with that.
