Matching-Red C1 and C8 Corvette Blend Restomod Cool With Mid-Engine Punch for $3

Some will say that a chance to go home with a brand-new 2020 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray of the mid-engine variety would be enough to bet big. Others would say that a restored and customized 1962 C1 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible is even better. But how about a sweepstakes that gives anyone a shot at bundle greatness?!

Well, it so happens that Chevrolet Corvette planets have neatly aligned for the good folks over at Dream Giveaway to organize a lottery that will include both models.

And, as always, the best part is that all eager fans taking part in the raffle will not be mourning for the money they lose in case they are not the lucky winners – the tickets act as donations for children and veterans’ charities.

As far as the two ‘Vettes are concerned, they are dressed up in matching red attire to bridge the generational gap. We ought to give age priority, but the truth is we can’t help talking about the first-ever mid-engine Corvette. The 2020 Stingray we see here has been ordered with just about every factory option (so the MSRP has gone up to more than $93k).

That would include the Torch Red exterior paint, the spectacular Adrenaline Red leather cockpit, the contrasting black five-spoke Trident aluminum wheels (with Bright Red brake calipers, of course), or the Carbon flash high wing spoiler, and Carbon Fiber Dual Roof Pack, among others.

It’s going to enchant any the driver with its powerful 495 hp and 470 lb. ft. of torque V8 engine and deliver great handling qualities. And even that will get blown away by the second part of the lottery prize (scheduled to select one lucky winner next year in Clearwater, Florida), the matching Salsa Red 1962 Corvette.

How do we put it mildly... we talked about the 2020 ‘Vette because the restomod simply blows it away in terms of looks (and, perhaps, even has close-matching performance). Loved by so many, the C1 Corvette has become a preferred target for bringing the old school design up to snuff with 21st century technology.

And this example has it all, from the spectacular paintjob to the fuel-injected Chevy LS3 engine and from the electronic four-speed automatic transmission to luxurious leather-clad bucket seats. Not to mention the Art Morrison chassis, Ford 9-inch rear end, 17-inch alloys or the Magnaflow dual exhaust!
