While previous speculation regarding what model Maserati would unveil at the Paris Motor Show, according to autoedizione.com, that model is in fact the GranCabrio MC Stradale - a drop-top version of the current GranTurismo MC Stradale, which is a faster, lighter and more focused version of the regular car.
The GranCabrio MC Stradale will undoubtedly feature the same 4.7-liter V8 engine, which will be tuned to produce the same 450 hp. It will also get special body modifications, including revised front and rear bumpers, as well as different side skirts. It also benefits from different suspension and steering setups, to further accentuate the car’s sporty side.

We don’t really understand why Maserati is bringing this particular car out, as the loss of the roof will make it less stiff and heavier than the coupe, thus compromising the ‘sharpness’ they were trying to capture with the roofed version.
